For patients with impaired renal function (creatinine clearance < 60 ml/min) the carboplatin dosage has to be reduced an adapted to the glomerular filtration rate.
At a glomerular filtration rate of 30-60 ml/min, Carboplatin should be administered in dependence to the initial value of the platelets in the following dosages:
